Note: Quote marks are used below for clarity. Do NOT use quote marks when actually typing your search words into the Search box.
- Enter any word or part of a word. A list of all matching strings will be displayed, so you can type in just a portion of a word found in the test name. To list Hepatitis tests, you can type "Hep" or "Hepatit" or "Hepatitis". To search for Epstein-Barr virus tests you could type "stein" or "Barr", since both strings are found in Epstein-Barr. You could get a list of all Test Codes beginning with 245 by typing in "245", or you could select a single test by typing in its complete Test Code. All matches to a typed string will be listed.
- Narrow the search with the second search word. Use the optional second search word to further identify the test(s). For example, entering "Hepatitis" would bring up a number of tests with the word Hepatitis in the test name BOTH together seperated by a single space.
- Use the ANY/ALL option for more control. If you want a list of tests with the word "Hepatitis" AND the word "Panel" in the Test Name, you would enter BOTH words in the search box seperated with a space, and make sure that ALL KEYS is selected. If you want a list of tests with "Hepatitis" OR "Rheumatoid", you enter BOTH words in search box, and select ATLEST ONE KEY. This will give you a list of all tests with the word Hepatitis or the word Rheumatoid in the title. Both words do not need to be present in the title in order to be listed with the OR feature.
- Capitalization does not affect results. The search is not case sensitive. You may use uppercase or lowercase letters.
